Recap - WLWT Channel 5-150 - Kentucky Speedway (7/8/05)
The #41 Clemons Racing Ford Taurus was a top 10 car during the
WLWT Channel 5-150 on Friday night. Unfortunately, Josh ran
out of gas hurting his chances to remain on the lead lap and
compete for the win. He finished the race two laps down in
19th position.
|
Josh will not be
entering the Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati 150 at Kentucky Speedway
on May 14.
Due to the major body damage the #41 Clemons Racing Taurus
suffered in the Salem race, it will be necessary to hang a new body
on the car. With the majority of reliable body hangers busy
repairing damage to NASCAR Busch and Cup cars that were damaged at
Talladega, the team was unable to find someone who could get the new
body hung in time for the Kentucky race.

Recap - Kentuckiana
Ford Dealers 200 by Federated Auto Parts - Salem Speedway (4/24/05)
It was not a good day for the #41 Clemons Racing Ford at Salem
Speedway. After qualifying in the 8th position, Josh was
forced to start the race from the rear of the field after stopping
on the track during warm-up laps to adjust his steering wheel.
Josh was quickly working his way up through the field and had gotten
up to 15th position. As he attempted to make a pass on the
outside, another car made it three wide in turns 3 & 4, forcing
Josh into the wall and causing heavy body damage to the #41 Clemons
Racing Ford Taurus. Josh completed 65 laps of the 200 lap
race.

Louisville, KY
Most of the drivers competing in tonight's ARCA Kentucky 150 at
Kentucky Speedway only dream of the chance to drive in NASCAR's

up-and-coming racer.
ARCA rookie Josh Clemons, a relative unknown who isn't even listed
in the stock car series' 2004 media guide, will move up to the Busch
Series next year after partnering with United States of Mind

Josh on TV
New Albany, IN - June 29, 2004
– Josh Clemons was selected to be the
spotlight at a recent taping of “Now That’s Country”
TV show. Interviewing Josh between segments of music videos
and NASCAR commentary, show hosts Greg Milby and Brad Bell
set up shop in the racecar shop in front of Josh’s ARCA
Ford, on blocks awaiting a rebuilt engine for the July 9th
race at Kentucky Speedway. A bit nervous, Josh did a great
job with his easy laugh, |
great looks and commitment to the 11 Entertainment
Based USM Charities.
Rachel Tucker had outlined the unique sponsorship to Greg, who
hosted the American Cancer Relay for Life a few weeks back.
Intrigued, Greg called and set up a taping. The first of what will
be many TV interviews, Josh will be less nervous for the next one.
For a driver who races at 180 miles an hour, Josh is on the shy
side, which adds even more to his infectious charm.
