ARCA RE/MAX Eddie Gilstrap Motors ARCA Fall Classic by Advance Auto Parts
Salem, IN 9/18/04---Josh started the race in the 10th position. He overcame a flat tire, a pit road penalty which put him one lap down and managed to avoid all the wrecks to finish 5th, 1 lap down to race winner Jason Jarrett.

ARCA RE/MAX Kentucky 150 on 700 WLW Pole Night - 7/9/04
This is a one day event. There will be one practice session prior to qualifying. After qualifying, the cars will be impounded until the start of the race.

Qualifying was rained out resulting in the field being set by points. Due to running a part time schedule, Josh was too low in the points standings to make the race.

Channel 5-205 ARCA RE/MAX race at Kentucky Speedway on May 8th. After running strong through the first half of the race, the motor in the #41 USM Taurus let go (possible valve spring) relegating Josh to a 28th place finish. While the finish was disappointing, the team is still encouraged by the strong practice and qualifying from the weekend.

PFG Lester 150 - ARCA RE/MAX - race at Nashville Superspeedway on Friday, April 9th.
Josh stayed out of trouble all night and finished 9th to grab a top 10 in his first race of the year. Way to go Josh!!
The race was won by Blake Feese followed by Casey Atwood and Klaus Graf. Full story at arcaracing.com

(Note: NASCAR Busch Series has asked Josh to drive a few ARCA races prior to moving up into the Busch Series due to the fact that Josh did not race last year.)

On Thursday, March 25 Josh put his #41 Ford Taurus on the track at Nashville Superspeedway during open testing. Josh turned in a fast lap of 30.910 sec. (154.901mph) which was the 10th fastest time of the 29 cars participating in the test. This was a great showing for Josh's first time on the track. Way to go Josh!!
