Nashville Practice Update
LEBANON, Tennessee
August 10, 2007
Clemons is driving the No. 21 for Jack Bowsher Motorsports & Associates in an effort to keep the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series owners points up for the team for the remainder of the season.

The team is carrying sponsorship from the Grand Victoria, Premier Mortgage Funding and DoubleTree Hotel of Opryland in the 14th ARCA Re/Max Series event held at Nashville Superspeedway.
In practice today, Clemons turned a time of 32.643 seconds at 147.009 MPH putting him 37th on the practice rundown overall.

"We can't be happy with that lap. We're struggling a little bit, but we've been known to find the speed when we need it. It's frustrating because we've come here before and been very competitive, but we'll get everything figured out and focus on qualifying and the race."

Josh drew the 18th position for SIM Factory pole qualifying set for later this afternoon.

Qualifying Update:  While Josh was able to pick up considerable speed in qualifying, his lap of 32.843 seconds (164.419 mph) was not fast enough.  The time was 38th fastest, just missing making it into the top 32.  Due to running a partial schedule,  the team did not have enough owner's points to make the field.

SALEM, IN  April 21, 2007
On Saturday, Josh qualified with a time of 18.228 (for a speed of 109.612 mph) to lock him into the 20th starting position for Sunday's Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200.

Josh on Practice and Qualifying:
“We’re in the field. That’s important. We would have liked to qualify a little closer to the front, but we’re not going to complain. Our Premier Mortgage Funding, Inc Ford is running pretty well. We didn’t give 100 percent in practice. We were working things out but we made some strides in qualifying. The Clemons Racing team needs to put on a good run on Sunday, because we’re going to have a lot of support in the stands with it being a hometown race. I just hope we have a little luck on our side to make that a reality.”

Clemons Racing will look to duplicate or better their fall 2004 performance at Salem Speedway this weekend. The Clemons Racing team hails from nearby New Albany, Indiana giving the team some extra momentum with local support in their hometown and in the stands at the legendary short track.   Read Full Pre-race PR
