As
Clemons Racing approaches the 2008 season, the fabrication shop crew as well
as the pit crew have been hard at work to insure that all racing
equipment and race cars are set up correctly for each
race in 2008.
Team
owner, Larry Clemons oversees everything that happens on race day and at
the fabrication shop.
On
race day we leave it up to our Crew
Chief
to push the team in the direction necessary to win the race. We have 7
guys that go over the wall during the pit stop. Front
and Rear Tire Changers, Front and Rear Tire Carriers, Jack Man, Gas
Man and Catch Can Man.
The
crew trains together 3 or 4 times a week to insure that the pit stops
go as fast and as
safe as humanly possible. Each member of the crew is required to attend a local gym as well.
These guys are the heart and soul of the team on race day.
Our
Fabrication Shop is an important part of the race
team. Their job never stops year around. They help with setting up the
cars as well as with repairs on the racecars. |
